This is great, but oh god the shrieking Lady Gaga isn’t.
This is great and obvious and clunky and way too on-the-nose and probably could have stood a few more drafts and I am so glad someone did it and put it out there today, because someone needs to see it just as it is.
Todd Glass’ interview on WTF today was sometimes beautiful and sometimes infuriating and I could not be more grateful that he did it 6 months before he was ready to do it, because someone needs to hear it just as it is.
I’m sure you have notes about how both of these things could have been better. You’re probably right. Do me a favor: write those notes down on a sheet of paper, fold that piece of paper nice and small, shove it up your ass, and pass this video or Todd Glass’ episode of WTF on, because someone in your life needs to see these imperfect, important things. I promise you.
Agreed that maybe that Lady Gaga moment could be forgotten, but that video is inspiring and thought provoking, and definitely worth reposting. I’m not one to post online (this is my second posting, sorry), but this Todd Glass podcast really moved me on multiple levels. I’m not one for posting online or really anywhere or to anyone. I’ve had a couple of moments in my life where I needed to tell someone something that I was embarrassed of or too afraid to let someone see the real me, and fuck it’s not easy (can’t even imagine it on this level). And it’s not even about Todd admitting that he’s gay that got me, it’s just that he’s admitting who he is.
Sometimes the internet can bum me out and god I wish those “so 15 seconds ago” commercials on TV weren’t the world we live in now, but this episode is something that should be shared, on Twitter, Facebook, text it, wherever. Give it to your 15 year old nephew or your 60 year old aunt. Not only is he a gay man, who awkward as it may be at times, he is being honest. And honestly, no one should care if you’re gay or straight, just fucking be yourself. That’s the way it should be and bravo to Todd to have the balls to do so.

Animae Dementia/Animal Madness plasters Berlin & Paris
Berlin and Paris have been invaded with huge paper creatures/animals devouring up their creators, French street artists duo Ro and l’Homme Pendu.
The massive pieces they’ve created are part of a collection titled ‘Animae Dementia’ aka. Animal Madness.
They use a ‘wheat-pasted’ paper technique to place the creatues into the landscape and then suspend themselves within the work, appearing to be gobbled up by the creatures.
